Prior to founding Karst Peak in 2012, Adam was a Director at Tiger Investment Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tiger Management L.L.C., the family office of Julian Robertson. As the head of Tiger Investment Consulting, Adam reported directly to Mr. Robertson and was responsible for identifying and vetting public and private equity investment opportunities in Asia for Mr. Robertson’s investment portfolio.
Before opening the China office, Adam was an investment analyst covering global equities at Tiger Management, where he reported directly to Mr. Robertson. Prior to starting his work with Tiger Management in August 2008, he was a co-founder and co-portfolio manager at Glacier Bay Capital, a small cap-focused long/short equity hedge fund management company. Adam began his investment career in 2002 as an equity analyst with O.S.S. Capital Management, a global long/short equity hedge fund management company.
Adam graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania where he was enrolled in the Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology and was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Economics (concentrating in Finance) from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Applied Science from the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
